The Don & Marilyn Miller Family Farms will be offered at public auction November 10, 2023. This Class A farmland will be offered in 2 tracts. Tract 1 is 40 acres+/- with an average productivity index of 135.9 and Tract 2 is 160 acres+/- with an average productivity index of 138.1. These tracts are adjacent and are located at the intersection of 325 North Road and 3100 East Road approximately 5 miles east of LeRoy or approximately 7 miles northwest of Farmer City, Illinois.
There is an active wind energy lease with Sapphire Sky Wind Energy, LLC on both tracts. There is a wind turbine located on Tract 2. The farm has raised white corn in the recent past and has an average of 219 bushels per acre, while the soybeans have averaged 74.3 bushels per acre. This is excellent income producing farmland with natural drainage.
