LAND AUCTION – 02/11/2021

This farm will be offered in 2 tracts of 80 and 78.84 acres+/- or a total of 158.84+/- acres. The farmland is located 4 miles south of Sibley, Illinois or 4 miles north of Gibson City, Illinois.  The soils are the farm are predominately Ashkum silty clay loam and Elliott silt loam.  Average Soil Productivity Indexes are 125.7 and 125.3 on Tracts 1 and 2. There are no buildings on the farm.  The lease for 2021 is open.  Anhydrous has been applied to the farm and will be reimbursed by the buyer at closing.  Full details can be found in the complete brochure including the bid form.  A proposed contract and preliminary title work will be provided to those requesting brochures as they become available.

Due to COVID-19 precautions sealed bids will be due to our Bloomington, IL office at 12:00 Noon on February 8, 2021.  Similar to most of our auctions in the past, we are asking bidders to complete a sealed bid form before the auction to register to bid.  In the current environment we must limit the number of attendees.  As a result, the top ten sealed bids will be invited to a private auction on February 11, 2021 where they will be afforded the opportunity to raise bids to determine a final high bidder on each tract. Qualified Bidders will have the option of attending the private auction in person or remotely via our online bidding platform.
