LAND AUCTION – 11/17/2021

The Davis farms are located 2 ½ miles south of Newman, IL or 28 miles southeast of Champaign, IL. This auction will include two tracts, being 77.05  +/- surveyed acres and 54.0 +/- real estate tax acres in Sargent Township of Douglas County.  The farms will be offered at auction as 2 tracts and sold using the “Choice and Privilege” auction method. These farms include excellent soil productivity indexes being 143.1 on Tract 1 and 143.4 on Tract 2.  Primary soils include Drummer Silty Clay Loam, Flanagan Silt Loam and Brenton Silt Loam. Lease rights for the 2022 crop year are open. The Seller will retain the 2021 cash rental payments. Tract 1 has been surveyed and will be sold on surveyed acres.  Tract 2 will be sold on real estate tax acres.
