LAND AUCTION – 11/18/2020

This highly tillable farm is located 5 miles west of Fairbury, Illinois and 7 miles south of Pontiac, Illinois.  The primary soils on the farm are Ashkum and Chenoa Silty Clay Loam with a weighted average soil productivity index of 127.8.  No building improvements on this farm.  The seller will retain the 2020 crop and government payments and terminate the existing crop share lease resulting in open lease rights for 2021.  All mineral rights will be tranferred to the buyer. Sealed bids are due to the First Mid Ag Services Bloomington office before noon (CST) on November 13, 2020.  The top ten bidders will be invited to a live auction on November 18, 2020 at 10 am. Due to COVID-19 precautions sealed bids will be due to our Bloomington, IL office at 12:00 Noon on November 13, 2020. Similar to most of our auctions in the past, we are asking bidders to complete a sealed bid form before the auction to register to bid. In the current environment we have to limit the number of attendees. As a result, the top ten sealed bids will be invited to a private auction on November 18, 2020 where they will be afforded the opportunity to raise bids to determine a final high bidder. Qualified Bidders will have the option of attending the private auction in person or remotely via our online bidding platform.
