LAND AUCTION – 02/02/2021

This highly productive and high percentage tillable western Indiana farm is located 1/2 mile east of Brook, Indiana on Route 16 in Newton County. It is a flat, black tract with a five year average of 212 on corn and 66.2 bushels/acre on soybeans. One building, a 24' grain bin exists on the southwest corner of this farm. The seller will retain the 2020 crop and government payments and terminate the existing crop share lease resulting in open lease rights for 2021. All mineral rights will be transferred to the buyer. Sealed bids are due to the First Mid Ag Services Bloomington office before noon (CST) on January 29, 2021. The top ten bidders will be invited to a live auction on February 2, 2021 at 10 am (CST)/11am (Eastern). Due to COVID-19 precautions sealed bids will be due to our Bourbonnais, IL office at 12:00 Noon on January 29, 2021. Similar to most of our auctions in the past, we are asking bidders to complete a sealed bid form before the auction to register to bid. In the current environment we have to limit the number of attendees. As a result, the top ten sealed bids will be invited to a private auction on February 2, 2021 where they will be afforded the opportunity to raise bids to determine a final high bidder. Qualified Bidders will have the option of attending the private auction in person or remotely via our online bidding platform.
