LAND AUCTION – 11/17/2020

This farm will be offered in 2 tracts of 78.73 and 41.37 acres+/- auctioned individually, not combined. The farms are 7.5 miles east of Bloomington, Illinois or 3 miles northwest of Ellsworth, Illinois. The topography in this area is level to slightly undulating. Primarily Class A and B prairie soils include Drummer & El Paso silty clay loams,  as well as Flanagan, Saybrook, and Ipava silt loams.  Average Soil Productivity Indexes are 135.3 and 137.3 on Tracts 1 and 2.  Six Year average whole farm yields are impressive with Corn: 226 bushels/acre and Soybeans 73 bushels/acre.  Full details can be found in the complete brochure including the bid form.  A proposed contract and preliminary title work will be provided to those requesting brochures.

Due to COVID-19 precautions sealed bids will be due to our Bloomington, IL office at 12:00 Noon on November 13, 2020.  Similar to most of our auctions in the past, we are asking bidders to complete a sealed bid form before the auction to register to bid.  In the current environment we have to limit the number of attendees.  As a result, the top twelve sealed bids will be invited to a private auction on November 17, 2020 where they will be afforded the opportunity to raise bids to determine a final high bidder on each tract. Qualified Bidders will have the option of attending the private auction in person or remotely via our online bidding platform.
