LAND AUCTION – 11/16/2021

The Hancock Farm offers 394.38 +/- surveyed acres located 2.5 miles east of Lacon, Illinois on State Route 17. This farm will be sold Buyer’s Choice and Privilege in 3 tracts, featuring 2 tracts of prime farmland and 1 tract of combined tillable and recreational acres. Tracts 1 (77.26 +/- surveyed acres) and 2 (158.56 +/- surveyed acres) are heavily weighted by the coveted Muscatune silt loam soil type, with their respective Estimated Weighted Soil Productivity ratings being 141.4 and 136.9. Tract 3 (158.56 +/- surveyed acres) provides opportunities for a variety of visions in addition to offering excellent hunting for whitetail deer with tillable acres for income generation. While dominated by Mature Timber, Tract 3 is buildable and peacefully secluded off the beaten path.
